Long Island Iced Tea
The ingredients for a Long Island Iced Tea (LIT) are long, but the drink itself is simple to make because all you have to remember is ¾ of each ingredient. Easy! Boasting several different alcohols, some claim the drink was created during Prohibition when people were trying to hide their booze. Others say it sprung up at a Long Island Bar in the 70’s, or maybe from a guy in Tennessee. In any event, love it for what it is: a lively cocktail.
