Daiquiri

The amazing Daiquiri we know today traces back to Cuba with its name coming from a small village called Daiquiri, just 14 miles east of Santiago de Cuba. This beloved drink is one of the most familiar and crowning cocktails of our time.

Ingredients

• 2 ounces Bacardi White rum
• 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
• 3/4 ounce simple syrup
• Garnish: lime twist

Steps

1. Add the rum, lime juice and demerara sugar syrup to a shaker with ice, and shake until well-chilled.
2. Strain into a chilled coupe.
3. Garnish with a lime twist.
