Vesper
This drink, also called a Vesper Martini, sounds mysterious. It was made famous by James Bond in the novel and movie Casino Royale, when the character Vesper Lynd asks James Bond if he named the drink after her “because of the bitter aftertaste” to which he replies that he named it for her, “because once you have tasted it, you won’t drink anything else.”
