Mudslide

There are a few things to know about this treat of a cocktail. Foremost, it should be shaken and chilled because stirred and warm won’t cut it. Additionally, this is a delicious, decadent drink, but there is not a lot of chocolate as the name “mud” might imply. Instead, the focus is on the heavy cream, so steer clear of 2% shortcuts and, keep in mind, this cocktail can be enjoyed after dinner and on vacay (in a mug
with a little extra whipped cream if so desired).

  1. Add the vodka, coffee liqueur, Irish Cream, and cream to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
  2. Strain into a chilled fizz glass or coupe.
  3. Garnish with freshly shaved chocolate.
